As a Lucky Photographer

Ever since I borrowed my brother’s DSLR for a trip to England during college, my camera has been one of my best companions. Yet I had never really thought about using my camera to start a business until one day I surprisingly received lots of flattering feedback for my self-taken engagement portraits, which had been featured in a magazine. 

I’m a photographer without any awards or art-related degrees in my suitcase, but that does not take away from my confidence in composing, a skill that has been sharpened by paying attention to all the small details around me every day. Degrees or labels won’t tell you much about a person’s sense. The length of one’s gear list or resume can’t guarantee pictures that speak to a particular audience either. Check out my pictures. If it speaks to you, let's talk. 

As a Blessed Child

I was born and raised in a lovely island, Hong Kong, with loving parents and siblings. I hopelessly adore kids and I'm a certified Early Childhood Ed. and Special Ed. teacher. To pursue my dreams instead of limiting myself to one workplace, I took a leap of faith and started my own educational service called AMP™ and freelance photography business. I currently reside in sunny California with my sweet hubby, my cute chinchilla, and wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.
